TRANSFER STUDENT SUPPORT

Supporting transfer students on their path to OSU

We provide support for students before, during, and after the process of transferring from a community college to OSU or another university.

Please reach out with questions or to set up a meeting! We can help with selecting community college courses that transfer into your major, finding ways to pay for college, and helping you feel at home at college.

How to dual enroll with the Degree Partnership Program?

The Degree Partnership Program (DPP) allows students to be jointly admitted and concurrently enrolled at Oregon State University and any Oregon community college (see the list of partner schools). With the Degree Partnership Program, you will have access to an OSU advisor and transcripts are automatically sent back and forth between schools.

How do you a pick a university major?

Choosing your major at OSU is an important part of the transfer process. This is a big choice - OSU offers more than 200 undergraduate programs (majors, options, double degrees, etc.) for students to choose. Once you decide what you want to study, you can make sure you are taking the right classes at your community college to meet the requirements of your OSU major.

How will your classes transfer to OSU?

OSU offers several ways to see how your community college classes will transfer to OSU, including transfer guides for each community college,  the TESS system where you can plug in your classes to see how they align with OSU majors, or the single course search tool if you just want to look up how a class or two transfer to OSU.
