Local Community Leadership Development, Cultural Competency, and Equity Training for Women

Developing local leaders starts with assessing community needs, providing facilitated self-reflection, and then providing coaching, tools, connection to resources, skills-building, and support.

The Program Includes:

  • 10 detailed training workshops with facilitated discussions, which can be attended as a whole program or a la carte
  • Networking sessions
  • Journaling prompts
  • Access to resources
  • And more!

Where/When:

April-December, 2022 and will be entirely virtual.

For:

Women working at CARDV who are interested in learning more, developing, or strengthening their leadership skills for current and future career paths! This pilot program will be used to develop an all-community, accessible leadership development program for women.

  • May 3, 10-11am: Confidently and Effectively Communicating/Providing Feedback. 

May-August:

  • Two journaling prompts per month
  • One leadership podcast per month
  • Optional support connecting to resources, mentorships, and coaching

  • Increasing Equity in the Workplace
  • Effective and Impactful Leadership

September:

  • September 13, 10-11am: Navigating Power Dynamics and Conflict Management. Join HERE.
  • September 27, 10-11:30am: Supporting LGBTQIA+ Team and Community Members, from Basic Rights Oregon (Part 1). Join HERE.

  • Trauma Informed Care, from Trauma Informed Oregon

  • Cultural Competency Training

Notes: Schedule still being finalized. All trainings will occur on a Tuesday or Thursday at 9 or 10am. Every month also includes journaling and leadership prompts
Participants will have access to additional leadership resources, including making optional mentorship connections
